Where every answer here comes from

Every Vastu answer comes from one rule table: 26 placements, from the main door to the borewell, each judged in all eight directions. Every direction has a verdict — ideal, good, okay or avoid — a reason, and, where it is not ideal, the traditional remedy.

The compass is divided into eight equal sectors of 45°. Doors, beds and desks are judged by the way they face; rooms by where they sit, measured from the centre of the home. The website and the app read the same table, so they cannot disagree.

A kundali is computed, not looked up. The Moon comes from a truncated ELP2000-82 lunar theory, the Sun from Meeus’ solar theory, and the five star planets from their orbital elements. Longitudes are converted to the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsha for your exact birth moment.

The ascendant comes from local sidereal time at the coordinates you were born at, not the nearest big city. The Vimshottari dasha is timed from the Moon’s exact degree, so its dates are right even when the Moon sits near the edge of a nakshatra.

The day runs from sunrise to the next sunrise, as the Hindu calendar counts it, so the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana are read at sunrise for your own place. Rahu Kaal and the other muhurats are worked out from that day’s sunrise and sunset, which is why they move through the year rather than sitting at a fixed hour.

The astrologer is a large language model, currently Google’s Gemini. It is given your chart, your running dasha and your saved readings, and is instructed to reason within Vedic astrology. It is not a person and does not pretend to be one.

The written readings on a kundali are produced the same way, from the calculated chart. The chart itself — every position, dasha date and dosha — is arithmetic, and is never written by the model.
