Western birth chart
The tropical zodiac, ten planets and your houses — the same sky your kundali is cast from, read the other way.
What you get
- Your Sun, Moon and rising sign, and where all ten planets sat.
- The twelve houses, in Placidus, whole-sign or equal houses.
- Every aspect between the planets, tightest first.
- The balance of elements and modalities in the chart.
How is this different from my kundali?
Western astrology measures the signs from the spring equinox (the tropical zodiac). Vedic astrology measures them from the stars, subtracting the ayanamsha — about 23 to 24 degrees for births in the last hundred years. So a planet late in a sign here is often in the sign before it in your kundali. Both are computed from the same positions of the same sky.
